Welcome!

If you want to learn English vocabulary quickly, this course is for you. I’m your teacher, Andrea Giordano, from Study With Andrea. I have helped more than 1,000,000 students speak clear English, and I am so excited to teach you today.

This Advanced Vocabulary course is designed for students who are preparing to take a standardized English exam such as the TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, or Cambridge exam. This course teaches you hundreds of words that are C2 words in the CEFR scale, Band 9 words on the IELTS, And 100+ words on the TOEFL.

In addition to the TOEFL and IELTS, these words are also necessary for top scores on tests like TOEIC, Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), Eiken, the Versant English Test, the College English Test in China, and many more. I have worked as an official rater for one of these standardized tests, so I know the kind of vocabulary you need to know to get your dream score.

After watching this course, you will know the meaning of hundreds of high advanced words, and you will be able to pronounce them clearly.

For each word I teach you in this video course, you will hear and see 5 things:

  1. The word
  2. The part of speech, meaning I will tell you whether it is a noun, adjective, adverb, or verb
  3. The word again, so you can perfect that pronunciation
  4. The definition of the word
  5. The word used in a sentence

Be sure to repeat after me each time I say the word so that you can perfect your pronunciation. Don’t just sit there…participate.

If you focus and participate, this course will help you get a top score on your English test.

Let’s get started!
